Buyer FAQ's

 

How do I contact the seller?
If you have a question about a product or order you can contact the seller directly.
Go to the shop page and in the right hand side bar there is a contact form, fill this out and this will go straight to the seller.

 

When can I expect my item?
For delivery and dispatch times please refer to the product description or shop policies.

If you are unsure, please contact the seller directly from the contact form in their shop.

Many items on Kraft Space are handmade to order and can take up to a few weeks to make, please check you are happy with the dispatch times before ordering.

 

How do I cancel, return, exchange an item or ask for a refund?
If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, you have 28 days from the date of purchase to cancel, return or exchange your item. All items must be returned to the seller in the UK.

Please refer to our returns page for more information.

 

I haven’t received my order yet, what shall I do?
If you haven’t received your item after 7 days (UK) or 14 days (international) please contact the seller directly from the contact form in their shop.

If you do not hear from the seller within 3 days of contacting them, please email us at contact@kraftspace.co.uk and we will contact the seller on your behalf.

 

Why Can’t I purchase an item?
We’re sorry you are having difficulties purchasing an item. There maybe a number of reasons why you cannot proceed to purchase. Here are some of the reasons:

  • Item is out of stock
  • You have not filled out all the mandatory information boxes, so your order won’t submit
  • Seller does not ship to your address outside the UK
  • The seller is on holiday and the shop is set to vacation mode

What is Kraft Space?
Kraft Space is an Exclusive Online Craft Market selling ‘wonderfully made’ creations by the UK’s finest crafters, artists and makers!

 

What makes it ‘Exclusive’
We are a curated marketplace – that means we individually review each application. For us it’s all about the quality of product, and every single product you see in our marketplace would happily take pride of place in our own homes.

 

Where is Kraft Space based?
Kraft Space is based in East Sussex in the United Kingdom.

 

How long has Kraft Space been in business?
We launched our website in November 2018. We may be new but we have big ideas and are on a mission to become the No.1 Creative Market Place in the UK.

 

Who can sell on Kraft Space?
This platform is only for sellers from United Kingdom. However, there will be helpful blogs, useful information and marketing tips that is available to all, so we think it is definitely worth following us.

 

Who can buy on Kraft Space?
Anyone! We offer shipping worldwide.

 

What can I sell on Kraft Space?
An array of delights from jewellery, homewares, furniture, gifts, clothing, arts and prints, textiles to ceramics. We are open to all ‘wonderfully made’ applications.

 

What is Kraft Space looking for?
Unique, original ideas. One of a kind creations that will be treasured forever. Creations handmade by you, with quality materials and skilled craftsmanship. Good quality photography that shows off your products in the best light. Passion and enthusiasm that is evident in all you do.

 

What does Kraft Space refuse to sell?
– Vintage items – unless they have been up-cycled into a new creation.
– Second hand items – unless they have been up-cycled into a new creation.
– Mass produced products
– Imported products
– Items which infringe copyright

 

How much does it cost to sell on Kraft Space?
At Kraft Space we believe in simplicity and transparency so you will find no hidden costs. We also believe that you should not pay if you don’t sell.
So we charge:
– One off joining fee £14.95 inc VAT
– 17% inc VAT commission on sales (no commission charged on postage)
– No membership fees
– No transaction fees
– We invest part of the commission back into advertising to drive you sales.

 

How do I get paid?
Payments are paid to you on the same day of the order. (usually within 24 hours of the order). You will receive the cost of the order with commission automatically deducted. Payments are processed via Paypal.

 

How do I know I have sold something?
You will receive an email to your registered email address with details of your order.

 

Do I have my own URL?
Your shop will have your own Kraft Space URL –
Your URL will look like this: www.kraftspace.co.uk/shop/your-shop-name

 

Can I sell on other platforms?
Yes of course. We do not restrict you selling on any other platforms.

 

Can I price my products higher than on other platforms?
It is written in our terms and conditions that items must be priced the same as other platforms. The reason being that we spend time and money marketing your products and don’t want our customers to find the items we advertise cheaper elsewhere.

 

Do I need to have an online shop already?
No. All you need is a link which clearly showcases your creations so we can review if they meet our standards.

 

Can I import my items from Etsy?
Yes, we offer a simple service to upload your Etsy items from your store. Simply download your CSV file from your Etsy account and send it to us. To do so, log into your Etsy account > Shop Manager > Settings > Options > Download. You will need to enter some additional basic info such as shipping, categories, product variations and additional images.

 

Can I see how many people have viewed my items?
You can view how many people have visited your store in your dashboard.

 

Can I sell personalised items?
Yes, you can sell personalised items. Customers can leave details for personalised items at checkout in ‘order notes’

 

Do you allow variable products?
Yes, you can add product variations such as size and colour. You can find out how to do this in step 5 of Knowledge base in your vendor dashboard.

 

Is there a minimum contract?
No – you are free to close your shop at any time. Simply write to us with 30 day notice and we will do the rest for you.
